On January 8-11, 2019, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) kicked off in Las Vegas, the USA as a global technology event. Longsys also put on a product roadshow as a parallel event to discuss with its clients on product performance and tailor-made solutions, envisioning a new future of the storage industry.
At the roadshow, Longsys rolled out some 20 products of its four production lines, including SSD, Embedded, Micro Storage, and Mobile Storage, seeking to offer more professional and personalized products and solutions for industrial clients. As such, the company has ushered in an era of TB-level storage for AI, VR, 5G, IoT, UAV, smart wear, and other fields.
01 Higher Storage Density
With the commercialization of 5G and AI, smart phone, smart home, smart wear, and other relevant products have come to the fore, together with ever-increasing demands for higher storage density and performance.
At the sales pitch, Longsys showcased a complete suite of FORESEE SSD products, which feature high speed, high stability, and high density (as high as 2TB). Among them, P800 PCIe SSD uses 3D NAND Flash and Marvell 88SS1092 host controller (8-channel design, supporting Marvell's third generation of LDPC error correction technology), and is mainly used in laptops, two-in-one computers, and tablets.
The new high-speed eUFS product, with the highest density up to 1TB, meets the requirements of UFS2.1 protocol. It supports HSGear3x2 Lane interface, and has functions like data acceleration, cache, and power-loss protection. It is used in high-end android-powered flagship mobile phones to embrace the up-coming 5G era.
Micro Storage offers various NOR and NAND Flash products with universal interfaces. Among them, Parallel/SPI SLC NAND, with a temperature range of -40℃~85℃ and an operating voltage of 2.7V~3.6V, supports up to 10 years data retention and allows 100,000 P/E cycles. It can be widely used in communication, network communications, industry, automotive electronics, consumer electronics, IoT, and other fields.
02 Brand Transformation and Service Upgrading
Longsys has long been engaged in digital storage operations integrating resources of suppliers, manufacturers, and clients. Within its own system, Longsys conducts intelligent coding, matching, and scheduling, thus allowing the utilization of resources in a substantially more rational, efficient way.
Following a service model of "DMS" (Design, Module, and Service), Longsys is powered by professional FAE and local test teams to offer cost-effective, tailor-made storage products and solutions in design, chip, software, package, and other aspects (including but not limited to: fire-control encryption, firmware backup, pre-replacement, power-loss protection, anti-deletion, self-starting, tailor-made ID, and lifespan monitoring). These cost-effective offerings can help clients realize mass production in a fast manner.
Looking into the future, we will rely on sustained, independent R&D and service model innovation to shift Longsys from a technology-based product company to a technology-based brand company, making it competitive in global market and win clients' trust worldwide.
